Day Six: Shame no longer gets a vote in my life.
Day Seven: I am ALIVE. I will not forget how important that is.
Day Eight: I am more than my diagnosis.
Day Nine: I will not ignore my symptoms.
Day Ten: Today will not last forever. Hard days don’t define my life.
Day Eleven: I don’t owe anyone an apology for my story.
Day Twelve: My failures do not define my character or my worth.
Day Thirteen: Saving a life requires more than tidying up.
Day Fourteen: In the midst of anxiety, I will continue to look for beauty and goodness.
Day Fifteen: I will let go of what life should be like. Instead, I will accept circumstances as they are.
Day Sixteen: I get to choose who I let into my deep spaces.
Day Seventeen: If addiction is drowning, recovery is a life raft.
Day Eighteen: I will find my reason for getting out of bed each morning.
Day Nineteen: I will respect my limits, and focus only on things that make me better.
Day Twenty: I don’t have to live inside the identity of a person who was wronged forever.
Day Twenty-One: I will be patient and kind with myself through the long-term process of recovery.
